I hope the story I'm about to relate will move you.
A woman who adored her two cats was recently beaten senseless by her "boyfriend." I put "boyfriend" in quotes because no real boyfriend would beat a woman within an inch of her life. She lost her eye and is in the hospital indefinitely. She may never regain her faculties and could even die.
Her two male Himalayan cats were taken in by a good Samaritan by the name of Ira. They are neutered, have their claws (but do not destructively scratch), are friendly, are about 9 years old, sleep in bed with Ira, have *no* litterbox issues, and are healthy. The cats may be related, but Ira doesn't know for sure. They have definitely been together for their entire lives.
Ira cannot keep these beautiful boys, as he travels a lot. Please consider adopting them, or if you can't, please forward this message to every animal-lover you know and ask them to do the same.
