Misty
Posted December 29, 2009

Misty was born in the Spring of 2001. She was friendly as a small kitten, and when we took her to the vets to be placed in a home, they gave her back to us saying they thought she might have feline leukemia due to a spot in her eye. The spot went away shortly after returning home. At that time she became aloof and didn't want any human contact. We called them after the spot disappeared and they said they still wouldn't take her. So, we drugged her and took her to Colorado with us and our other 2 cats.

She has been living happily in our house since September 2001. We have to move and can't take her with us, so would like to find a good home for her. She has spent all of her adult life in our home with only a few small moments outside, so she is definitely a house cat. Since she has only had contact with our cats, and we would have to drug her, she hasn't been to the vets since she was a kitten. She has been fixed and is in excellent health as far as we can tell.

Misty is a beautiful dark gray with orange eyes. She hung out with our older cats until they passed away. She currently does not get along with our newer, adopted cat, Freddy for some reason.

We would love to find a home for her, and really appreciate your help. Our intention is to pay for all the costs involved with her and to donate to Divine Felines and again, thanks for the work you are doing with the feral cat population.

Laurie
